Dear Reader,
I am hard at work on my second book, Children of the House of Cleves: Anna and Her Siblings, set for release by Amberley Publishing around May 2022. Researching and writing this book has been particularly challenging because of the state of the world right now, and for personal reasons. All is well with me, but 2020 was quite difficult for a multitude of reasons.
Given the work necessary to write the best book I can, I likely will not post much new content on Maidens and Manuscripts until around November or December 2021. I very much value your ongoing support and interest, and I hope you don’t mind indulging me with your patience. I’ve been hearing your bird(s) on Tudor Dynasty Podcast and I was wondering what they are. I have a Quaker and 4 budgies and I used to have tiels.

How lovely! I had a darling male Quaker. The birds I have now are a male Princess of Wales parakeet, a female Green Cheek conure w/colour mutation, and a female Meyers parrot. Thank you for reaching out! I’m glad you like the podcast!
